How far ahead should I get the car checked?
A fortnight before you list it is comfortable. That leaves time to get parts, shop around on price, and have the work done in a planned way rather than against a deadline with a buyer waiting.
What fails most often?
Tyres just under the minimum tread depth, blown globes, worn wiper blades, windscreen chips inside the wiped area and worn brake components. Individually they are all cheap. Found at the wrong moment, they are not.
Can you do the repairs as well?
We can carry out most of the mechanical items, quoted before we start. Windscreen and tyre replacement we would refer on to a specialist rather than pretend otherwise.
